As a licensed CT preschool, our curriculum is based on the Preschool Curriculum Framework*. Each day the children have the opportunity to experiment with different art media, manipulative materials, dramatic play, a well-chosen library of children’s books and records, building blocks of all kinds, science materials, and many other interesting items.

A typical day at School on the Green includes:

• Diagnostic learning games
• Circle time and organized games
• Various structured activities, including Art, Music, Cooking, and Storytime
• Creative free play
• Show and Tell
• Snack time (with an emphasis on healthy foods)
• Outdoor play
