Each of our classes are led by two co-teachers. Meet our staff:

Sara Schuch
Director
Sara Schuch holds a Masters Degree in Special Education, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
She is a mother of two boys who have attended preschool at SOTG. Sara currently works part time as a BCBA for Family Strong, LLC. Prior to taking on the role of Director, Sara served as the Co-President of the Board of Directors for one and a half years where she worked closely with parents and teachers on fundraising, events, and basic maintenance of the school. As Director, Sara is committed to upholding the unique parent cooperative approach that SOTG thrives on, as well as assisting the teachers in aligning the curriculum to the current Connecticut Early Education Standards.

Sheri Cheverie
Co-Teacher
Sheri holds a bachelors degree in Communication from Southern Connecticut State University. Before taking on the roll of Co-teacher she served on the board of directors for four years, three of those as Co-President.

Danielle Jackson
Co-Teacher
Danielle holds a bachelors degree in early childhood education from Post University. Before coming to SOTG as co-teacher, she worked as a preschool teacher for Head Start.
Danielle believes in making the preschool experience fun and engaging with hands on learning. She is passionate about early literacy and the important role it plays in early childhood learning.
Danielle grew up in Canada and currently lives in Thomaston with her husband and two daughters.
